Are you looking for an opportunity to increase your capability to provide quality dental care to patients with disabilities? The summer, the Center for Health Equity at Indiana University will offer an oral health training designed for dental workforce professionals in Fort Wayne on July 15.
- Learn about the challenges and needs related to dental care access and home oral care for Hoosiers with disabilities.
- Learn how to prepare your practice for patients with disabilities.
- Learn how to better support patients with challenging behavior by incorporating concepts of behavior management into their practice.
- Learn how to effectively communicate with patients with disabilities.

Louise McCarthy, RDH, MSM has 40 years of experience as a dental hygienist and dental public health instructor.
Dr. Cathy Pratt is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Director of the Indiana Resource Center for Autism at Indiana University.
Dr. Amy Sekhar is a sought-after speaker and trainer on diversity and inclusive practices for organizations and community groups.
