Title: The Expansion Boom: Separating Airway Science from Clinical Reality

Course Description

Airway concerns have reshaped orthodontic treatment philosophies and fueled a growing emphasis on arch development and expansion. This lecture reviews the current evidence, including the 2026 AAO White Paper on Orthodontics and Airway, to help dentists understand when expansion is appropriate, when extractions remain a valuable treatment option, and how to guide patients toward timely, evidence-based orthodontic care.
